Droylsden — direct via Audenshaw
Droylsden is one of our closest non-Denton areas — eight minutes via Audenshaw. The Metrolink Droylsden line terminus and the Marina are the obvious landmarks; the housing is the kind of mixed Tameside stock we know inside out.

Why our work in Droylsden is genuinely local
Droylsden sits in M43, between Audenshaw to the south and Failsworth to the north. The Manchester Metrolink Ashton line ends at Droylsden Town Centre and Audenshaw, which has driven significant residential change in the past decade.
Around 8 minutes from our Denton HQ in normal traffic. For genuine emergencies we aim to be on site the same hour.
Droylsden Marina (formerly Fairfield Junction Canal Basin) has become the centre of newer Droylsden development, with apartment blocks and townhouses replacing former industrial sites. These newer builds typically have modern consumer units, RCBO-protected circuits and decent supplies — the work we do there tends to be small additional circuits, EV chargers in allocated parking, and the occasional smart-home upgrade.
The older heart of Droylsden, around Market Street and Manchester Road, has Victorian and Edwardian terraces alongside post-war semis. EICR demand is heavy — Tameside Council's HMO and selective licensing schemes touch a chunk of the rental stock here — and we work for several local letting agencies on rolling EICR schedules.
The Manchester Metrolink Ashton line terminus and the M60 corridor make Droylsden a strong commuter base. EV charger demand has grown noticeably here over the last three years, and we've done plenty of OZEV-grant-funded installs across the newer marina-side estates.
