What does the relocation process involve?

We isolate the circuit, remove the existing socket or switch, route new cabling to the desired location, install a new back box and face plate, then make good the original opening. The whole process is designed to leave minimal trace of the old position.

Will there be damage to my walls?

We keep disruption to an absolute minimum. Small channels (chases) may need to be cut to route cables, and we fill and plaster over them as part of the job. For stud walls, cables can usually be run inside the cavity with little visible work. We always leave the area clean and tidy.

A single socket or switch relocation typically takes one to two hours, including making good. Multiple relocations in the same room can usually be completed in half a day. We will give you an accurate time estimate before we start.
